An Introduction to Theology of the Body

Thursday Evenings beginning April 19th

Location: St. Patrick’s Parish, 32922 Richmond Street, Lucan, Ontario, N0M 2J0

An Introduction to the Theology of the Body: Discovering the Master Plan for Your Life is an eight-part, four-hour study designed to give you a solid understanding of God’s plan for humanity. It addresses the two most fundamental and universal questions:

  1. What does it mean to be made human, male and female, in the image
    and likeness of God?
  2. How can I live my life in a way that brings happiness and fulfillment?

This study is for every “body” who desires to reach his/her full potential in this life.

In this study you will learn:

  • Learn why the redemption of our sexuality is the key to happiness.
  • Develop a “new lens” through which to see the world with greater clarity.
  • See how God’s mystery is revealed through the body and spousal love.
  • Discover the truth behind the lies of lust and pornography and how they can be overcome.
  • Learn the language of sexual love.

Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother

Wednesday Evenings beginning April 11,2018

Location: Sacred Heart Parish, 131 Thames St. N. Ingersoll, Ontario

Why is Mary so Important to Us?

As Catholics, we have a profound reverence for the Blessed Mother. We turn to her in prayer, in the Mass, in the Rosary, and in Marian devotions. We honor her with special feasts celebrating the significant events in her life. We place images of her in our churches and homes.

The better we know Mary, the better we will know her Son.

Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother is an extraordinary pilgrimage that reveals Mary’s unique role in God’s Kingdom and in our lives. Filmed on location in the Holy Land, Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother will place you in the midst of the powerful drama of her earthly life, taking you through her joys…and her sorrows. You will learn how she works in our lives today, drawing us ever closer to her Divine Son. Seeing Mary in this way will change you forever. Mary will become a part of your daily life, and in your daily life, you will become more like Christ.
